Visa has announced its collaboration with India-based Federal Bank thus presenting Visa Secure to the bank’s customers.

Visa Secure is the company’s global authentication program that leverages the latest 3DS protocol’s standards. It provides a faster checkout experience to users along with offering additional authentication steps in order to prevent fraud.

The program will also facilitate the shopping experience through such payment channels as web, mobile, and in-app. It is expected that the simplified authentication will decrease the level of the shopping cart abandonment as well.

With advancements in technology, customers now expect an unparalleled shopping experience without compromising on security. Through the rollout of 3DS 2.0 with Visa and our technology partner, Wibmo, and our guiding principle of ‘Digital at the fore, human at the core’, we are confident that we will provide greater convenience and enriching experience to our bank customers when they pay online using Visa cards
