Today, on 23 September, Monzo starts upgrading everyone to the new 3.0 version of the app. The bank says all the features will remain the same, though the app will get a different look.

You might notice we removed the Pulse Graph (the wiggly line showing your balance at the top) from the home screen. It's something we introduced during our prepaid program and it was no longer serving the purpose it was originally designed for. But don't worry, in the future, we want to take some of the core functionality from Pulse and make it more useful for the product we have today

With the new app, the bank has made it easier to see everything a user can do with their account. Through the Discover card, they can add more things to their Monzo, and try out some of the popular features, like Pots.

Moreover, the bank added an opportunity to quickly swipe between different accounts, pots and other things a user has added to their Monzo.

There’s also a new accounts list that gives the user a complete overview of their financial life in a neatly organized place one tap away on their profile picture.

Monzo added it has some new features that they’ll be releasing soon.
