Cost makes Americans think twice before seeking medical care 

The healthcare cost in the US is still a factor for many citizens, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic

According to a survey conducted by HealthInsurance, 39% of Americans would think twice about seeking medical care for the coronavirus due to its cost.

The data found that before the pandemic, 61% of respondents revealed they’ve avoided seeking medical care because of its price before the COVID-19 pandemic.

As to the issue of who should pay for the coronavirus testing, 54% of US citizens believe that the government and health insurance carriers should combine their efforts

In addition to that, slightly more than half of the respondents ask Google about the symptoms and treatment before making an appointment to see an actual doctor.
