Mobile data revenues will grow at a CAGR of 6.2% by 2025, driven by the growing consumption of online video content and social networking applications, according to GlobalData.

The total revenue will increase to $13.7 billion in 2025, as mobile data, fixed broadband and pay-TV will be the key the segment driving growth in the telecom market over the next five years.

Though 4G will remain the leading mobile technology in Thailand, by subscription share until 2024, 5G will surpass 4G subscriptions and account for 56.2% of the total mobile subscriptions by 2025, supported by the ongoing 5G network expansion by all major operators in the country and increase in the availability of 5G-compatible handsetsrnrn
