Klarna has announced the rollout of a new iOS drop widget. It launches alongside inspirational content, deals, and wish lists. This will enable shoppers to get the perfect gift for persons on their wish lists.
The new widget will make it easier for users to shop by alerting them when their favorite items are on sale. Also, price change updates that will be available at the shoppers’ home screens will come in handy. Being a permanent extension of the Klarna app, the widget can also be used even after the holiday season. The widget is available in three sizes.
The app will also provide information on trending Black Friday deals from vendors such as GameStop, Foot Locker, and Express among many others. Users will also have a dedicated space to browse merchant discounts. These are updated daily.
The app curates personalized deals and Wishlists according to holiday gift recipients, shopping categories, and price points. This ensures consumers do not miss out on a sale.
Since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, shoppers have become mindful of their spending habits with 76% of people in the United States making efforts to shop smarter. This is according to a study by Klarna.
We’ve reported that Klarna has entered into an agreement with video games retailer GameStop to provide access to the buy now, pay later payment service.
