That makes Klarna the first buy now, pay later service provider offering a rewards program

Klarna has announced the launch of a customer loyalty program called Vibe. The rollout of the program in the US is planned in June before being extended to Klarna’s other key markets of Germany, Australia, Sweden, and the UK within 2021.

Klarna reveals that’s the next phase in its efforts to evolve the shopping experience to deliver inspiration, convenience, and more value.

Vibe program applies to all purchases US Vibe members make directly through the Klarna app regardless of the store.

Program members earn one “Vibe” (point) for every $1 they spend, which can be redeemed for rewards. They include gift cards from customer favorites like Starbucks, Sephora, Foot Locker, and Uber.

We’ve reported that Klarna has announced its partnership with Timberland. This collaboration provides the brand’s US-based e-commerce customers with a flexible buy now, pay later option.
