MoneyGram International has announced a partnership with Digital Wallet Corporation, a global fintech company and Smiles Mobile Remittance owner, a major mobile money transfer service and digital wallet in Japan.

This means consumers in Japan can now use the Smiles mobile app to send money to over 200 countries and territories worldwide. It is powered by MoneyGram’s global payment rails and near real-time capabilities.

We’ve reported that JD.com launched robotic stores in the Netherlands.

The new model of shops introduces a shopping format merging online ordering and pick-up shops in which robots prepare the parcels, and home delivery service.
