Western Union teams up with Philippines’ micro-financial services provider Cebuana Lhuillier thus enabling Filipinos to carry out Western Union money transfers.

This collaboration with Cebuana Lhuillier adds 2,500 more locations to Western Union’s global network. What is will provide greater access to customers in the world’s fourth-largest remittance-receiving country.

Customers accessing Cebuana Lhuillier’s network will be able to send or receive money via Western Union in over 200 countries.

We’ve reported that Western Union has expanded its cooperation with NH Bank. This way, the bank’s NongHyup (Agricultural Co-operative) has been appointed as a sub-agent to offer Western Union money transfer services.
