Allbirds has launched its online store in Europe. According to Ecommerce News, consumers from twelve different countries across Europe can now order sustainable shoes from the American brand through the dedicated e-commerce website.

Allbirds currently ships to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden on allbirds.eu. Consumers from the United Kingdom already had the opportunity to order shoes from the San Francisco-based company. And there’s also a physical Allbirds store in London.

According to co-founder and co-CEO Joey Zwillinger, the company decided to launch a dedicated European e-commerce website due to high demand from European consumers. “The response we’ve received thus far has been beyond what we could’ve ever imagined when we first started this. We believe that our mission works better at scale and we are thrilled to launch Allbirds to Europe, bringing sustainability to more wardrobes around the world”, he said.

Allbirds was founded in San Francisco in 2016 and it’s already valuated at 1.4 billion dollars. Since its founding, the company sold over 1 million shoes worldwide. The shoes are known for its natural materials, such as merino wool, eucalyptus tree fiber and sugar cane.
