Ecommerce News reveals that both Naspers and Takeaway aimed to acquire Just Eat. After the negotiations, the stakeholders have accepted the offer from Takeaway.

At the end of 2019, Takeaway already raised its offer, in an ultimate attempt to beat Prosus, the international dealmaking unit from Naspers. Now, the enlarged company is expected to become one of the largest players in the global takeaway food delivery market.
