According to Ecommerce News, online shoppers from Denmark can now return their parcels by putting the box in a parcel locker from SwipBox. Logistics provider Bring, Norway Post’s international unit, is the first to offer this return service via the parcel locker.

The returns solution follows two years after the Danish company SwipBox launched its app-operated parcel locker solution. In Denmark, the solution operates under the brand name Nærboks. Several logistics providers have joined and now deliver parcels throughout the network.

Online shopping behavior has changed significantly since the coronavirus pandemic began, and this has also led to an increase in the utilization of SwipBox’ parcel lockers. As customers shop more online, they inevitably need to return more parcels

Those customers who want to return their parcel, need to register it via the app and take it to their nearest locker.

In addition to Denmark, the SwipBox solution is also available in Sweden, Norway, and Belgium, with more countries to come.

We’ve reported that European logistics investments nearly reached €40 billion in 2020.
