Delivery Hero has bought another competitor in Europe. This time it’s Swedish food delivery service Hungrig.se. As a result, the German company is now active with three different brands in Sweden, Ecommerce News reports.

Both Delivery Hero and Swedish food delivery service Hungrig.se kept quiet about the amount of money that was involved with the acquisition. Fact is that, together with Foodora and Online Pizza, Hungrig.se is now the third food delivery platform in Sweden that’s owned by Delivery Hero.

In the Nordic countries, Delivery Hero is now even active with a total of four food delivery service. Its brand Foodora also delivers in Norway and Finland, while in that last country there’s also the brand Pizza-Online.fi.

The expansion in the Nordics follows after Delivery Hero withdrew its presence from a number of European countries, most notably from its home market Germany. Last December, major competitor Takeaway acquired the Delivery Hero brand in Germany.
