According to Ecommerce News, Aldi has launched its first online grocery service in the UK. This way, German discounter offers a box to help consumers who are in isolation during the pandemic.

The special box, which costs €28.77, includes 22 everyday foods and essential household items. For instance, there’s the place for tinned soup, rice, pasta, antibacterial handwash, and toilet paper. The parcel weighs nearly 14 kilos and will be delivered at the door with full contactless delivery.

At the same time, Aldi stated that the food parcel is limited to 1 per customer, per week.

We’ve reported that JD.com starts collaborating with its on-demand delivery platform Dada Group to provide JD’s customers with a one-hour delivery service.
