The six biggest online stores in the Netherlands in 2019 are still the same 6 as in the year before
According to Ecommerce News, the top 250 e-commerce companies in the Netherlands have generated revenues worth €14.4 billion.
That’s about 20% more than in 2018. And 15% of the €14.4. billion was generated by the number one on the list, Bol.com. And the top ten online retailers account for 46% of the total top 250’s online sales.
Bol.com remains the biggest e-commerce player, with revenue of €2.17 billion. It’s followed by fellow Dutch companies Coolblue and Albert Heijn.
Just like last year, the top 6 now contains the same names. The only newcomer in the top 10 online stores in the Netherlands is a fashion retailer About You.
And the top ten online retailers account for 46% of the total top 250’s online sales.

- Wehkamp – €490 million
- Amazon – €400 million
- Jumbo – €350 million
- About You – €280 million
- De Bijenkorf – €250 million

There are also 32 companies in the top 250, that weren’t there last year. From these 32 companies, only 4 managed to enter the top 100.
