Ecommerce News found that H&M Group is expanding 5 of its brands online. COS, Weekday, Monki, & Other Stories and Arket will have their collections available online in 9 new European markets this May.

The rollout is part of the company’s ongoing digitalization. We are excited to share our brands with our customers across the world and are happy to see this project come to life, thanks to our incredible teams

The e-commerce operations for these H&M brands have already been rolled out to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and Croatia. The expansion to Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, and Cyprus will follow on the 20th of May.

The data found that H&M has seen its sales decrease by 57% since the beginning of March. At the same time, its online sales growth boosted by 32%, although it’s not enough to compensate for the closed stores.

We’ve reported that H&M is more likely to soon launch Afound in Germany. The outlet is currently only available in two countries, but a third might be on its way. Earlier in 2018, the marketplace for deals started in Sweden and then expanded to the Netherlands one year later.
