JD announced its partnership with the market supervisory body in Beijing and four e-commerce players like Alibaba, Pinduoduo, Suning, and Weidian. They aim to launch an information-sharing platform targeting illegal merchant behavior online.

All five e-commerce players plan to focus on such violations as price hikes, false advertising, and sales of counterfeit goods.

By now, these e-commerce platforms have gained and shared information about 70 violators. 15 of them are from Alibaba, 40 are from Pinduoduo and seven are from JD.

In addition to that, the illegal merchants will be forbidden to launch their presence on the platforms where they haven’t had their shops yet.
