Walmart has announced its partnership with Shopify thus expanding its product catalogs and allowing Shopify to sell on its marketplace.

This collaboration will enable Shopify to profit from a larger potential client base since Walmart’s website has nearly 120 million weekly visits.

According to information, Shopify sellers from the US will have to apply before selling through Walmart. Once approved, they will be able to integrate their Shopify store with Walmart Seller Account. Their product catalogs will be synced automatically.

We’ve reported that Walmart has teamed up with online resale platform ThredUp to offer nearly 750,000 pre-owned items on the website. The retailer launched this initiative during the lockdown since the pandemic made customers become more budget-conscious.
