Facebook started selling its new video-calling devices Portal and Portal+. Devices are available for purchase in the US starting November 7. The prices are $199 for Portal and $349 for Portal+.

Both of the devices can be purchased at portal.facebook.com, Amazon.com, BestBuy.com as well as Amazon Books and Best Buy stores nationwide.

Moreover, Facebook offers a holiday discount to those who consider buying two devices. This means a bundle of two Portal devices will be just $298.

To those concerned about privacy, Facebook mentioned that it does not listen to, view or keep the contents of Portal video calls, so this information cannot be used for advertising. In addition, Portal video calls are encrypted, so users’ calls are secure.
