American Airlines has introduced a mobile health passport.

The health passport is an easy way to travel amid the coronavirus pandemic. Customers can use the app to confirm COVID-19 requirements such as testing and quarantine. It will also show other mandatory documents required for international travel to the United States.

VeriFLY app will help understand and verify their travel requirements to the country. The app is available for all travelers from all international stations. American is increasing the access to the app given mandatory government travel requirements due to the coronavirus.

We’re expanding our work with VeriFLY to quickly evolve our usage of the app and make international travel easier for our customers. We support the implementation of a global program to require COVID-19 testing for travelers to the United States, and we want to do everything we can to make travel a seamless experience for customers. We’ve received positive feedback about the app so far and look forward to more customers having the opportunity to use it
Julie Rath, Vice President of Customer Experience at American

VeriFLY users can streamline their transit from the United States to other destinations including Colombia, Jamaica, Chile, and El Salvador.

So far, a significant number of American Airlines customers have traveled using VeriFLY.

We’ve reported that Brits are to participate in a pilot of digital COVID-19 immunity and vaccination passports developed by Mvine and iProov, the biometric and identity technology providers.
