Huawei teams up with Maxis, a communications service provider, to launch a 5G TechCity initiative in Malaysia. The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore and collaborate on a TechCity program in Kuala Lumpur.

Due to joint efforts, they will work to deliver 4G and 5G capacity solutions and innovation in 5G network design. In addition to that, the companies aim the setup of a 5G Innovation Lab to develop and bring new 5G use cases for various industries.

The program will include joint branding and the innovation of successful use cases nationwide.

With this TechCity collaboration, Maxis and Huawei are taking innovation to the next level by exploring new technologies to provide exceptional user experience and better network efficiency.
