Microsoft has announced the decision to replace dozens of its UK and US editors with artificial intelligence software.

Before the shift to AI news production on MSN, the employees were responsible for creating, choosing, editing stories. Nevertheless, this cut doesn’t concern Microsoft’s full-time workers.

In recent months, Microsoft has slowly been moving towards AI for its Microsoft News.

The company has been using AI to scan the content, process, and filter it. What is more, the technology even suggests photos for human editors.

We’ve reported that Microsoft rebranded its Office 365 suite of products to Microsoft 365, adding Windows 10 upgrades.
