At a press briefing, President Donald Trump indicated he was looking to ban more Chinese companies in the US.

When asked whether there were other specific China-based firms he was considering a ban on, including Alibaba, Trump replied:

Well, we're looking at other things, yes

This announcement followed an executive order targetting ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company. Trump mandated the company to divest TikTok’s operations across the US within 90 days, after accusing it of collecting Americans’ personal data.

We’ve reported that Instagram has rolled out Instagram Reels video feature that allows creating short, entertaining videos on the platform. Similar to TikTok, Reels lets users record and edit 15-second multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools.
