Airwallex Raises $330 Million Series G at $8 Billion Valuation, Eyes U.S. Expansion

Airwallex, the Australian-founded global payments and fintech infrastructure provider, has raised $330 million in a Series G funding round, valuing the company at $8 billion —a substantial increase from its $6.2 billion valuation in the previous Series F round.

The round was led by Addition, with participation from T. Rowe Price Associates, Activant Capital, Lingotto, Robinhood Ventures, and TIAA Ventures. The latest capital injection highlights growing investor confidence in Airwallex’s platform, which enables businesses to manage cross-border payments, treasury, FX, and digital banking solutions at scale.

With this latest funding, Airwallex’s total capital raised exceeds $1.5 billion, reflecting steady investor interest in its global growth trajectory.

As part of its expansion strategy, Airwallex announced that San Francisco will serve as its second global headquarters, complementing its Singapore base. The move signals an intensified focus on the U.S. market, one of the largest and most competitive regions for fintech and payments. The funds will be used to accelerate U.S. market entry, expand product offerings, scale global operations, and recruit talent to support rapid growth.

Airwallex has seen transaction volumes more than double year-over-year, surpassing $235 billion in total processing and achieving $1 billion in annualized revenue as of October 2025. Customers increasingly adopt multiple Airwallex products, reflecting a strong product-market fit and the platform’s ability to address the complex needs of global businesses.

The Series G funding positions Airwallex to further enhance its fintech infrastructure, offering secure, scalable, and integrated solutions for businesses operating globally. By combining capital strength, advanced technology, and dual global headquarters, the company is set to solidify its leadership in cross-border payments, while creating more efficient, cost-effective, and accessible financial tools for businesses worldwide.

Airwallex’s latest funding milestone underscores its ambition to become a truly global financial infrastructure provider, enabling seamless international commerce and establishing new benchmarks in fintech innovation.
