The new version of the e-book reader is called the Kindle Colorsoft. The price of this product is $279. Amazon reported that Kindle Colorsoft has weeks of battery life. Customers can already place a pre-order for the new version of the device. Ships of Kindle Colorsoft will begin on October 30th.
The e-commerce giant also presented an updated Kindle Scribe. This device has new note-taking features. The price of the Kindle Scribe is $399. Moreover, the company presented an updated Kindle Paperwhite. The price of this device is $159. Besides, the e-commerce giant has presented a 12th-generation Kindle. Consumers will be able to buy this device for $109.
Amazon’s devices chief Panos Panay said at a press event last Tuesday, October 15, in New York that the updates are the largest single refresh that the Kindle lineup has ever had.
The Kindle Scribe, which debuted in 2022, comes with a pen that allows users to take notes, make to-do lists, and write directly on the pages of the book they’re reading. The new version of this device has been equipped with a feature that uses generative artificial intelligence to summarize pages of notes into a concise list. The mentioned product is available for preorder now and will ship on December 4.
The new Kindle Paperwhite differs from previous models in the faster speed of the operation process. Amazon has stated that the 12th generation of this device is the most compact product in its category in the world.
