Salesforce to Acquire Tenyx

Salesforce, an enterprise cloud company, announced on Tuesday, September 3, that it has agreed to acquire Tenyx, a developer of voice agents based on artificial intelligence technologies.

Salesforce to Acquire Tenyx

Salesforce views the mentioned deal as an opportunity to advance its solutions driven by machine intelligence. There is currently no information about the amount that will be spent on the acquisition of Tenyx. At the same time, it is already known that the deal will be completed in the present quarter, although there is a potential for later dates for the final implementation of the business agreement.

Tenyx’s co-founders, chief executive officer Itamar Arel and chief technology officer Adam Earle, along with their team, join Salesforce.

Tenyx was founded in 2022. This startup is based in California. Tenyx serves clients from various spheres of activity, including e-commerce, hospitality, healthcare, and travel. Relevant information is contained on the startup’s website.

Last year, Salesforce, also based in California, decided to double its share buybacks amid pressure from activist investors. The firm also decided against acquiring more companies after disbanding its mergers and acquisitions committee. Salesforce is currently considering acquisition deals to accelerate its revenue growth.

It is worth noting that many technology giants are nowadays demonstrating and implementing in a practical sense an interest in acquiring companies specializing in artificial intelligence, or active, including financial, interaction with such firms. For example, Microsoft paid $650 million to acquire talent from AI startup Inflection. Amazon hired several co-founders and employees from Adept, another artificial intelligence startup.
