BMW and Alibaba will further collaborate with dealers to build BMW’s end-to-end operating system
Alibaba and BMW signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a strategic partnership in Beijing.
Both sides will use their own resources. They will also carry out cooperation in branding, marketing, channels, end-to-end operations, services, information technology, etc.
This way, they aim to implement the digitalization strategy into BMW’s full business process. Besides, they want to let dealers provide an end-to-end and online-to-offline digital experience for customers.
According to the MoU, BMW and Alibaba will jointly launch the first online sales and services businesses. They will be engaging dealers among premium auto brands, to create an end-to-end online-to-offline digital experience.
We’ve reported that Ant Bank, a subsidiary of Alibaba affiliate Ant Group, has officially launched in Hong Kong to provide citizens with 24/7 electronic banking services. Hong Kong users can already download the Ant Bank app with their smartphones. They can open accounts remotely in as little as 3 minutes using their Hong Kong permanent resident ID.
