Bolt has announced the rollout of Bolt Food grocery delivery amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

The customers can just open the app and select the store they want. Then, they will need to choose the essentials and confirm the delivery address. After the order details are completed, Bolt will show the estimated delivery time and the total cost of the grocery basket. The only thing that is left to do is to confirm the order.

Besides, the company ensures that all the deliveries are 100% contactless thus reducing the risk of spreading coronavirus.

As to the average waiting time for a Bolt Food delivery, it is about half an hour, depending on the customer’s location.

For now, the grocery delivery service is available in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Malta.

What is more, in the Czech Republic, all Bolt ride-hailing app users can order a Grocery Box to their home. The Box consists of a selection of everyday packaged and canned essentials.
