CONCORDBANK supported startups and awarded grant for US trip

The educational program for female entrepreneurs starts in October. The application process will be open until September 17

CONCORDBANK has partnered with the Female Leadership Program, an educational program for tech startups and female entrepreneurs, and awarded a travel grant for a trip to the United States, where the participants will work closely with international specialists for the whole week.

During the first stage, taking place in Kyiv on October 12-15, female entrepreneurs will attend lectures and masterclasses from leading Ukrainian and international experts in management, marketing, finance, sales, communications, and investment. The second stage will last from 16th to 17th October. It will be dedicated to mastering the art of self-presentation and negotiations with investors, and working out a business development strategy. Then the participants will compete for a travel grant from CRDF Global and CONCORDBANK. Ten winners of the competition will continue their education in the United States. The finalists will spend a week in Menlo Park, a unique educational and residential complex at the heart of Silicon Valley. According to DOU, the percentage of women in Ukrainian IT is actively growing and now amounts to 25%. Five years ago this figure was just over 14%. We are moving in the right direction, but we still need support. It is important that as many women as possible could learn about such programs.

It should be noted that the travel grant for the US trip from CONCORDBANK will be awarded to the winners of a separate fintech startups nomination.
