According to Ecommerce News, Dutch online department store FonQ has left Germany. The company states it wants to focus solely on its profiting businesses in other European markets instead.

FonQ entered Germany in January 2012, after it saw positive results from launching an online store in Belgium a couple of months before.

In 2018, however, FonQ decided to focus purely on profitable growth in the Netherlands and Belgium. That’s why it also closed its doors in France and Austria in 2018.

We’ve reported that Affirm has announced it will power Shopify’s Shop Pay Installments in the US. According to the report, customers will be able to split their total purchase amount into 4 equal, bi-weekly, interest-free payments.
