Ecommerce News found that Coop and postal company Posten Norge launched grocery home deliveries across Norway. They teamed up to deliver groceries to those who can’t go to stores during the lockdown restrictions.

Since Coop has set up an ordering solution on its website in record time, online grocery shoppers can have their orders delivered to their doorstep.

We’re all in the middle of an extraordinary situation and we want to help those who have to stay at home. That’s why we have worked very hard to launch a simple ordering solution for our customers as quickly as possible. In the future, it will be under continuous development when it comes to usability, product selection and payment, and delivery solutions
Geir Inge Stokke, CEO of Coop Norway

According to the statement, the solution has been tested in the Oslo area and is now also available in Stavanger and parts of Western Norway.

We’ve reported that Bolt has announced the rollout of Bolt Food grocery delivery amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
