Santander’s international money transfer service, PagoFX, is now available in Belgium. Sending money to foreign countries quickly, safely and at a fair cost, is not a problem for Belgian citizens anymore.

PagoFX assures Belgian citizens can send money anywhere and anytime, with all costs prepayment and Santander support.

According to the report, due to the coronacrisis, Santander is launching PagoFX in Belgium without commission until January 15, 2021.

This will allow new clients to provide support for their families and friends abroad, as well as charity organizations.

Money transfer is an area ready for a shakeup in Belgium. Sending money abroad here can be difficult. Many Belgian residents still pay high fees with hidden charges in exchange rates, then only have their funds delivered days later without transparency on the exact amount they’re sendingrnrn

The company says first-time users will not pay any commissions anyway, without any currency exchange surcharge, up to a maximum of €1000 (conditions apply).

We’ve reported that Santander has recently acquired technological advantages from Wirecard. The acquisition strengthens Santander’s position in the global merchant acquiring space. This is despite the bank already has a strong presence in the sector.
