The Swiss online retail company Microspot is now officially presenting itself as a non-food online shopping center. The logo, colors and design have been changed to give the website the look of a shopping center instead of a consumer electronics retailer, Ecommerce News reports.

Back in May, Coop already turned Microspot into an online department store. But that was mainly a change of assortment. Now, the look and feel of the website has also been changed. And whereas earlier this year, the tag line used by Microspot was ‘Home electronics at low prices’, it now says ‘The online shopping center of Switzerland’. Consumers who now visit Microspot.ch will see a comprehensive range of products, varying from iPhones and coffee machines to vibrators and calculators.

On the homepage, under ‘About Microspot’, the Coop Group-owned business says it focuses on the most popular products in Switzerland and that with it brands it wants to stand for attractive offers. “Here, you will not only find the best in-home and consumer electronics, but also many other items outside the electronics world that add real value to your everyday life, leisure time or home.

The assortment of Microspot has been extended and also features products from the Coop Group, such as Coop Bau+Hobby, Import Parfumerie and Christ Uhren & Schmuck. Microspot also has private label products such as Naturaline, Qualité & Prix and Oecoplan.

According to Carpathia, the e-commerce company has also improved its logistics. Products that are ordered before 6 PM will be delivered on the following day, including Saturdays. And items marked with “Speed” ordered before noon, can be delivered on the same day in 11 cities across Switzerland.
