Visa has revealed its paying in installments option that allows paying in a set number of equal payments for something at the POS.

This new solution is a key element of Visa’s strategy to help its clients and partners give consumers more flexibility to pay with credit cards at checkout.

The report says that TSYS, Global Payments Issuer Solutions business, will be the first issuer technology partner offering Visa’s new installment option.

Along with that, Commerce Bank became the first American bank in the US to pilot the installments solution on a limited number of Commerce Bank Visa credit cards.

Kibo Commerce sellers will soon be able to offer Visa’s installments by deploying a customized app from Kibo’s marketplace, according to information.

We’ve reported that 58% of European checkouts have at least 3 basic errors, which could complicate the checkout process for shoppers.
