Adobe has presented an artificial intelligence model that can use text prompts to generate videos.
The mentioned AI model, which was announced last Monday, October 14, was named Firefly Video. It’s worth noting that this configuration of artificial intelligence debuted during a larger presentation of the Adobe MAX product showcase.
It is noteworthy that recently some players in the machine intelligence industry have also presented tools designed for video generation. The corresponding virtual products have already been demonstrated to the consumer audience by companies such as Meta and OpenAI. In a certain sense, in this case, there is the beginning of a kind of new stage in the technological evolution of artificial intelligence, which provides for a more massive generation of content in the form of videos after primarily focusing on text materials and images.
Adobe, as part of its desire to compete in the AI area, has relied on the development of models trained on the database, which it has the right to use. In this case, artificial intelligence models are meant. Adobe’s mentioned approach means that AI-generated content can be legally used in commercial work.
The company will make Firefly Video available to customers on its waiting list. At the same time, there is still no exact information about when this will happen.
Adobe has also not announced any customers using its video tools. It is worth noting that consumers of the company’s digital products designed to generate images are brands such as PepsiCo, IBM, Mattel, IPG Health, and Deloitte. The mentioned clients use the specified technology to optimize workflows and scale content creation.
