Ant Group’s AI-driven healthcare platform AQ has emerged as one of China’s top seven AI-native applications, and the only one focused on healthcare in this list, according to the latest QuestMobile report.

Launched as an Alipay mini-program in September 2024 and as an independent app in June 2025, Ant Group’s AQ has served 140 million users and achieved the China’s top seven AI-native applications group’s highest compound growth rate of 83.4%, underscoring the rapid rise of AI-powered health services amid China’s aging population and increasing healthcare demands.
According to the National Health Commission, by 2035, more than 400 million people in China (over 30% of the population) are expected to be aged 60 or above, up from around 270 million (19%) in 2025. By 2050, estimates suggest that the population aged 65+ could exceed 330 million, accounting for more than 20% of the total population. This demographic shift is expected to increase demand for healthcare services and digital solutions such as AQ that can support preventative care, chronic disease management, and elderly care.
Innovative AQ platform provides more than 100 AI-enabled services, including doctor recommendations, medical report interpretation, and personalized health advice.
Through this AI-driven healthcare solution, users can access digital healthcare services from over 5,000 hospitals, connect with 200,000 licensed doctors, and interact with more than 300 AI Doctor Agents, developed in collaboration with medical experts and leading hospitals across China.
