These tokens will not be available on Binance.US from March 21. The American division of the cryptocurrency exchange said that the relevant decision was made after a thorough analysis of all available assets.

Experts suggest that HNT trading pairs were excluded from the list due to the transition of Helium to Solana.

The Helium Foundation stated that the decision of the cryptocurrency exchange is disappointing, but interaction with it continues. The Fund intends to inform Binance about its main goals and plans to achieve growth indicators.

The Helium team intends to encourage users to regain control of their HNT with the free open-source Helium Wallet app. Alternatively, customers will also be asked to move to one of the more than 20 locations that continue to support HNT trading pairs.

Helium confirms its commitment to the transition to Solana, seeing this as an opportunity to increase the usefulness of the network. This migration will also help focus more resources to create a cost-effective communication layer for all users and gadgets.

The Helium application will support the purchase of subDAO’s tokens and other integrations with Solana’s DeFi platform immediately after migration. For HNT, this means being a presence in more decentralized exchange platforms.

This is not the first time Binance has removed HNT tokens from its platform. Last October, the platform eliminated cross-isolated margin and spot trading pairs for HNT and BUSD.

Then the executive director of the Helium Foundation, Scott Siegel, expressed disagreement with Binance’s decision. He noted that the integrity of HNT is preserved and meets all the standards of the crypto exchange.
