Bitget has opened access to its traditional financial trading suite after a high-volume beta test demonstrated strong user interest.
Crypto exchange Bitget has made its traditional financial (TradFi) trading platform available to all users, following a beta period that drew significant participation. During the private beta, over 80,000 users joined a waitlist, and select instruments, including XAU/USD, recorded daily trading volumes exceeding $100 million, signaling considerable demand for integrated access to traditional markets.
The platform now offers trading across 79 instruments, including metals, forex pairs, major indices, and commodities, all settled in USDT. The offering is designed to allow existing Bitget users to trade traditional financial products within the same interface they use for cryptocurrencies, without needing to navigate multiple platforms.
Bitget positions the launch as part of its broader “Universal Exchange” initiative, aiming to combine crypto and traditional markets in a single ecosystem. The platform includes tools for order execution, portfolio management, and risk tracking, enabling users to apply strategies that span both asset classes.
According to Bitget, the rollout will not only expand trading options but also provide insights into user behaviour across asset types, informing future product development. The company emphasised that the beta feedback helped refine the system for public access, improving usability and operational stability.
Founded in 2018, Bitget serves over 120 million users globally and has grown from a crypto‑focused exchange to a platform offering tokenized stocks, ETFs, and other real-world assets alongside digital currencies. The addition of TradFi trading reflects a wider trend among digital asset platforms exploring ways to bridge the gap between conventional financial instruments and crypto markets.
