Bitget Wallet Card enables everyday use of crypto by linking self-custodied digital assets directly to Mastercard’s network of over 150 million merchants and Visa’s presence in more than 200 countries.
Bitget Wallet has officially introduced the Bitget Wallet Card in select Asia-Pacific markets, broadening its crypto payment services in one of the world’s most dynamic crypto-supporting regions.
Through the Bitget Wallet app, users can apply for the card, receive instant approval via a fully digital onboarding process, and add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay for global use. Transactions are instantly funded through on-chain swaps and deposits in USDT or USDC, while top-ups carry no fees.
The Bitget Wallet Card offers a seamless crypto spending experience with virtual and physical cards accepted at over 2 million merchants worldwide and compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Users can top up instantly across multiple chains using USDC/USDT or swap other tokens within Bitget Wallet, all with no annual fees. The card combines enterprise-level security and regulatory compliance, while early adopters enjoy exclusive launch rewards and special top-up perks.
The rollout comes as Asia-Pacific solidifies its position as the world’s fastest-growing crypto market, with on-chain activity surging 69% year-over-year to US$2.36 trillion. The region has become a hub for both institutional stablecoin adoption and retail payments, with Southeast Asia driving remittance flows and mature markets like Japan and Australia seeking transparent, cost-efficient payment solutions.
By leveraging Bitget Wallet’s self-custodial platform alongside global payment partners, the Bitget Wallet Card aims to connect blockchain-native assets with mainstream financial systems across the region. The crypto card was initially launched in European markets, including the United Kingdom and the European Union, before expanding to Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand.
Earlier this week, the crypto company released an update to its mobile platform, Bitget Wallet Alpha, which serves as a discovery and trading hub for on-chain opportunities.
