On 18 June 2026, iFX EXPO International 2026 opened with a strong first day, attracting thousands of attendees to City of Dreams Mediterranean, Limassol, for a full day of networking, business meetings, exhibitions, and conference content for the global online trading, fintech, payments, and financial services community.

A key highlight of the opening day was the keynote address delivered by Dr. George Theocharides, Chairman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), who shared insights into the evolving regulatory landscape and the future direction of financial markets across Europe.

Throughout the day, attendees participated in meetings, product demonstrations, partnership discussions, and networking opportunities across a packed exhibition floor. Conference sessions explored topics including regulation, trading technology, digital assets, payments, artificial intelligence, business growth, and market development.

Beyond the exhibition and conference programme, Day One also included invitation-only roundtable discussions, the UF Awards, and the Official Night Party sponsored by SBG.

Attendees engaged with leading brands including CloudTrader4, B2BROKER, Solid Payments, ecommbx, Blockmaze, Panda Trading Systems, and many others from across the financial services ecosystem.

Featured speakers and industry experts represented organisations including Microsoft, Visa, Crypto.com, Kraken Cyprus, TradingView, Markets.com, Capital.com, payabl., Nuvei, NAGA, and Finvasia, alongside Michalis Persianis, Chairman of the Fiscal Council of Cyprus.

Day One’s programme also included discussions on the global economic outlook, tokenization and digital asset infrastructure, artificial intelligence adoption, payments innovation, customer acquisition strategies, and the evolving relationship between traditional finance and digital assets, along with a Microsoft masterclass on AI implementation and business transformation and a Visa session examining the future of digital payments.

Attendees also witnessed the official announcement of the overall winner of the inaugural iFX Hack 2026 Trading & Fintech Hackathon, powered by AWS, recognising the most outstanding solution developed during the two-day competition held earlier in the week.

iFX EXPO International 2026 continued on June 19, the final day of the event, at City of Dreams Mediterranean, Limassol. A full review of the event will be published shortly.
