French spacetech startup Infinite Orbits has raised €40 million in a new funding round to accelerate the growth of its satellite servicing business. The investment will allow the company to scale its fleet of life-extension and inspection spacecraft and expand operations across Europe.

Infinite Orbits focuses on geostationary (GEO) satellites, providing services that include inspection, maintenance, and life-extension to help extend the operational lifespan of existing satellites.

The company uses autonomous, vision-based navigation software that enables its servicer satellites to rendezvous with clients’ spacecraft and perform in-orbit operations with high precision. The funding will support the deployment of additional servicer satellites, enhance its autonomous systems, and develop the operational infrastructure needed for large-scale satellite servicing across the continent.

The startup’s CEO, Adel Haddoud, emphasized that the investment demonstrates confidence in Infinite Orbits’ vision to become a European leader in the emerging in-orbit services market.

Satellite servicing plays a vital role in maintaining the functionality and reliability of satellites that form the backbone of global navigation systems, including GNSS constellations used for timing and positioning. These systems are critical to financial services, where precise timestamps are essential for transaction processing, fraud detection, and trading operations.
