The EU-authorized payment platform company that most recently positions itself as a crypto payment gateway aims to connect crypto and traditional finance in a single payment infrastructure environment empowering users to accept, send, and exchange digital assets.

The latest funding round for INXY Payments that was announced on April, 6, brought the self-proclaimed crypto-to-fiat bridge $4 million investment. Led by a continuous supporter, Flashpoint, this fund raise builds on an earlier $3 million round in 2025, which was also led by the same VC company.

The initial investing session was the first major institutional vote of confidence for the Poland-authorized, Canada-registered stablecoin payments infrastructure provider and helped validate its main idea: using crypto, especially stablecoins, can help improve cross-border payments scenarios which long need disruption. It helped the 2022-founded startup scale operations and build early partnerships.

At the time of the 2025 round, INXY was already processing over $500 million annually. It enabled businesses to accept crypto, convert it into fiat, and send payouts worldwide. The company focused on quickly and cheaply moving money across borders, addressing a common issue in long-distance payments.

Today, demand for alternative payment methods continues to grow, creating dire need for crypto-native payment gateways. The market for such fintech tools is projected to grow from about $1.2 billion in 2023 to $6.03 billion by 2035. This gives even more opportunities to startups similar to INXY.

The new $4 million funding suggests that investors now see continued growth potential in the crypto payment facilitator with offices in Cyprus, Poland and soon Switzerland. With the new funding and Polish VASP license that secures EU regulations compliance, INXY plans to expand into new markets, strengthen its product, and secure additional licenses.

The company operates in a space that is gaining more attention: stablecoin-based payments. Instead of relying solely on traditional systems like bank transfers or card networks, businesses can now mix traditional with alternative payment rails via bridging platforms and use stablecoins to settle transactions faster and most often at a lower cost than with regular fiat transfers.

This is especially relevant for cross-border payments, which, unile domestic transactions, often improved by local instant payment systems, are still viewed as slow, expensive, and complex. By combining crypto with traditional financial systems, INXY aims to simplify this process for companies operating globally.

The company’s platform allows businesses to accept payments in crypto, automatically convert funds into fiat or stablecoins, send mass payouts across multiple countries, and more. These functionalities are particularly useful for industries like e-commerce, gaming, and digital services.

While $7 million is still relatively small compared to some larger fintech rounds seen in March, it highlights that investors are increasingly supporting infrastructure that links crypto and traditional finance. Such a software foundation could become important backend supporting pillar for global payments, helping businesses move money faster and more efficiently worldwide.
