Melanion Digital has integrated Fipto’s payment infrastructure to support subscriptions in stablecoins for its Luxembourg-domiciled Sigma Market Neutral Fund.

Stablecoins as a capital deployment tool
Stablecoins are increasingly used in institutional finance not only to transfer value but also to deploy capital. Supporting subscriptions in stablecoins, starting with USDC, requires payment infrastructure capable of transaction monitoring, reconciliation and audit-ready reporting.
How the integration works
Through Fipto’s institutional-grade payment infrastructure, stablecoin settlement is now supported for subscriptions to Melanion Digital’s Sigma Market Neutral Fund, starting with USDC, through:
- Direct stablecoin settlement, without intermediate fiat conversion
- Secure processing of digital asset transfers
- Full transaction traceability and reconciliation
- Seamless integration with existing fund administration processes
The implementation connects stablecoin liquidity with institutional investment infrastructure. It illustrates how blockchain-native payment rails can support the operational standards expected in regulated asset management.
Executive statements
“As the use of stablecoins continues to grow across institutional markets, it was important for us to provide an institutional solution that responds to these evolving needs. Until now, subscribing often meant converting stablecoins into euros or dollars before investing, adding unnecessary cost and operational friction. By working with Fipto, we can now support direct stablecoin settlement for subscriptions through an institutional-grade payment infrastructure. We believe this is an important step toward making stablecoin settlement more efficient within institutional asset management.” — Cyril Sabbagh, President of Melanion Digital
“Institutional adoption of stablecoins depends on payment infrastructure that meets the operational standards expected by regulated financial institutions. Working with Melanion Digital on this implementation demonstrates how dedicated stablecoin payment rails can simplify fund subscription workflows while preserving robust operational controls.” — Patrick Mollard, CEO of Fipto
Relevance for the sector
For asset managers, fund administrators and fintech companies exploring stablecoin payment workflows, the implementation illustrates how dedicated payment infrastructure can bridge digital assets and institutional fund operations.
