New One-Click Payment Feature, Flow Remember Me, Is Rolled Out by Checkout.com

Checkout.com, a global digital payments company, announced several updates to its payment platform, with the key one being Flow Remember Me, designed to make transactions faster and simpler for both merchants and shoppers.

The new one-click payment tool is an extension of Checkout.com’s digital payments platform, Flow, which allows merchants to deploy over 35 payment methods through a single integration. This feature allows shoppers to save their card details once and use them immediately across Checkout.com’s network of over 500,000 merchants. The goal is to reduce friction at checkout, making payments faster and more likely to be completed.

Early data from Checkout.com shows that Flow Remember Me can reduce checkout time by up to 70% and increase acceptance rates for merchants by around 7%.

Flow Remember Me is now available in 194 countries. Early adopters reported fewer authentication challenges (22%) and fewer session timeouts (30%). As the feature builds on Checkout.com’s existing Flow platform, this simplifies entry into new markets and reduces the need for engineering work.

The company also highlighted other platform enhancements:

  • AI-powered analytics: Merchants can track the full lifecycle of a payment and use natural language queries to gain insights.

  • Agentic commerce partnerships: Checkout.com is working with Visa, Mastercard, and Google to support AI agents that can shop on behalf of customers.

  • Expanded acquiring footprint: Approval for a US Merchant Acquirer Limited Purpose Bank charter will give Checkout.com direct access to US card networks.

  • Issuing capabilities: Merchants can issue physical and virtual cards, access funds instantly, and reduce pre-funding requirements.

  • Re-directionless 3D Secure: This reduces checkout drop-off by keeping security checks embedded in the payment process.

  • Payment performance optimization: Checkout.com’s Intelligent Acceptance engine has helped merchants avoid false declines and recover lost revenue, generating over $15 billion in processed payments to date.

One-click payments like Flow Remember Me are becoming increasingly important. Shoppers prefer faster, simpler transactions. Merchants benefit from higher conversion rates and fewer abandoned carts. A recent report indicates that 45% of U.S. online merchants have requested one-click checkout solutions from their payment service providers (PSPs) in an effort to enhance conversion rates.
