Amazon aims to support emerging brands

Amazon has launched the first edition of the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards, Ecommerce News report.
That’s a European competition designed to support innovative startups. According to information, the best company will win the ‘Startup of the year’ prize of €100,000.
Until the 28th of March, startups registered in the EU (the UK and Switzerland included) that sell physical products to consumers can enter the competition.
A judging panel will then select the 5 most innovative startups from a shortlist of 15 finalists. Each finalist will win a €10,000 grant, free access to Amazon Launchpad for 1 year, and several marketing placements. The ultimate winner will receive an additional €90,000.
