Airbnb digital gift cards are now available for customers in the UK, according to the press release.
From now on, digital gift cards can be used for online purchases. Meanwhile, physical cards will only be available in select locations.
UK digital cards can only be redeemed by UK residents. However, the company has offered an option for the recipients to spend the card’s value from any location globally. Also, the funds added to the gift card do not expire.
The Airbnb Gift Card unlocks access to the platform’s collection of homes around the world and its Airbnb Experiences feature. Whether it’s friends, family, partners, colleagues, there’s an Airbnb Gift Card for everyone, the company states.
Airbnb Experiences allows holidaymakers to pick and choose between all kinds of activities and interests, whether that’s for nature lovers, art enthusiasts, foodies, history buffs or zen seekers.
The home-sharing platform which was launched in 2007 has over 1 billion guests and over 4 million hosts.
