Facebook introduced a new way to view and control users’ off-Facebook activity. Off-Facebook Activity lets a user see a summary of the apps and websites that send to Facebook information about user’s activity, and clear this information from their account if they want to.

With Off-Facebook Activity, a user can see and control the data that other apps and websites share with Facebook. They can:

  • See a summary of the information other apps and websites have sent Facebook through online business tools, like Facebook Pixel or Facebook Login;
  • Disconnect this information from their account if needed;
  • Choose to disconnect future off-Facebook activity from their account.

Facebook is gradually making these features available to people in Ireland, South Korea and Spain. The network says it will continue to roll it out everywhere over the coming months.
