The first cloud kitchen in Singapore opens in January, with more to come in the first half of 2020
Grab rolls out a merchant platform that will provide tools and end-to-end business support for Food & Beverage merchant-partners of all sizes. GrabFood opened its first cloud kitchen in Singapore as well.
The company will simplify the merchant experience by integrating Grab Financial Group and GrabAds services into a single merchant platform. This way, merchant-partners will be able to track business performance and maximize their growth through analytics, advertising, and financial services.
Grab will also help merchant-partners to procure discounted kitchen supplies and ingredients at competitive rates, and have them delivered to their stores.
Since GrabFood has 50 cloud kitchens across 5 Southeast Asian countries, it will continue expanding its network of cloud kitchens in 2020. Merchant-partners will have the opportunity to expand with GrabKitchen at a low cost. GrabKitchen offers them an experimental platform to introduce new food concepts and brands with significantly reduced risks.
