JD.com starts collaborating with its on-demand delivery platform Dada Group to provide JD’s customers with a one-hour delivery service. Their cooperation is the expansion of JD’s Omnichannel Fulfillment program, launched in 2019.

This way, JD customers can now directly buy more than 3 million products from participating stores on JD.com and receive them within an hour. Although, some products can even be delivered within 15 minutes.

According to the statement, Dada Group will launch on JD.com approximately 100,000 stores from JDDJ (JD Daojia, Dada’s local on-demand retail platform).

Besides, JD provides a new channel for sales to the retailers that collaborate with JDDJ. What is more, the flow of new customers will improve the stores’ sales performance and turnover rate.

Since its launch, JD’s Omnichannel Fulfillment program has attracted many leading brand partners, including Coca-Cola, Nongfu Spring, P&G, C’est bon, Budweiser, etc, covering offline stores in 242 cities across China.

The data found that during the Q4 2019, some brands have seen their orders increase 300% compared to the previous year after joining the program.
