JD is currently testing its autonomous delivery robots in Wuhan. Along with that, the company has been making preparations for medical supplies’ delivery via drones in China.

The company aims to reduce human to human contact during the coronavirus, so that’s why it’s turning to advanced technology.

JD’s automated warehouses are able to work 24/7 to meet the daily necessities of Chinese consumers during the Spring Festival.

Furthermore, JD’s automated fulfillment centers are helping the company process incoming orders. The automated warehouses, which are highly efficient fulfillment centers, integrate intelligent logistics technologies such as AI, deep learning, and image recognition. They include more than 70 varying degrees of automation, depending on need.

What is more, JD’s unmanned store, the JDX Mart, is offering consumers in Guilin, Shenzhen, and Dongguan a contactless way to get their products while reducing the risk of infection.
