Ecommerce News reveals Bose will close all of its stores in Europe, as well as in North America, Australia, and Japan. The reason for that decision was an increasing shift to online shopping in certain regions around the world.

Bose will close a total of 119 physical stores over the next few months. That affects all Bose-owned stores in Europe, Australia, Japan, and North America. As long as Bose hasn’t reached a significant shift to e-commerce in the UAE and some parts of Asia, there will still be around 130 stores that remain open.

Originally, our retail stores gave people a way to experience, test, and talk to us about multi-component, CD and DVD-based home entertainment systems. At the time, it was a radical idea, but we focused on what our customers needed, and where they needed it – and we’re doing the same thing now
